Nancy Mitford

The Mitford estate asked us to design a site for Nancy Mitford to accompany the re-release of some of her best selling works and the publishing of an as yet unreleased work.

Working in conjunction with a designer in the USA who has worked on Nancy Mitford’s book covers and other related worked we designed and built the new site. This was supposed to be a very clean site and not overly elaborate, rather a simple clean and elegant site to befit the subject matter.

Frances Osborne is an author who needed a website to coincide with the launch of her second book, ‘The Bolter’. Frances’ website is built with a calendar that posts her latest events, photo slideshows and links to purchasing sites.

Frances Fyfield is an author who has released a large number of books and won a number prestigious prizes for crime writing. Frances’ website provides a comprehensive list of all her works, some extract content and quotes, including links to purchase her books online.

Chacombe Music Festival

The Chacombe Music Festival required a simple clean site where they could provide information about this annual event. The website is therefore a clean elegant design to fit with the cleint’s needs.

Selina Hastings

Selina Hastings is an English author. Selina approached us requiring a website for any readers of her books and fans to visit, where they could gather more information about her works and where to purchase them, as well as information about herself. Selina had no prior experience in briefing or building a website and thus the process was made very clear and understandable to allow the client to control the final site whilst not needing to understand the technical goings-on “under the bonnnet”.

Selina’s site has seen a steady growth in traffic since it launched, although is not advertised. Many of her readers and fans have contacted her through the website with queries and points of discussion and the site helped in the marketing of her new novel.

the site is built on a Content Management System allowing the simple addition of content in future.
